Open Day Student Ambassador - Durham University Computer Science Department

Worked with other members of the Computer Science department to facilitate Four Open Days; Speaking to prospective students about the Course, Durham and Student Experience whilst managing the logistics of a large group of people.

STEM Teaching Assistant - Engineering 4 Kids LTD

MAR 2022 - MAR 2023   •   (1 year 1 month)

Assistant teaching in primary school after school clubs; working with children aged 6 to 11. Leading and teaching workshops on Lego engineering and robotics, as well as programming in Scratch, in two clubs a week at the Beacon school. Over 120 hours of experience with explaining technical STEM concepts to children. Also managed a group of six Virtual Reality devices and handled Customer Satisfaction for a joint VR experience; working with Meta Quest hardware and software.
